Flexible Alerts

Alerts fire within seconds of a confirmed failure. The system waits for the configured number of consecutive failed checks before triggering, typically 2 to 3 checks, to avoid false positives from transient network blips.

Each probe has an alert level: None, Low, Medium, High, or Critical. You configure which notification channels receive which levels, so a Critical probe can page your on-call engineer via SMS while a Low-level probe only sends an email.

Set the Alert Repeat Interval on the probe (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes) or set it to 0 to disable repeat alerts. You can also acknowledge the outage, which suppresses further repeat notifications for that incident.

Acknowledging an outage marks it as a known issue. If "Skip alerts for acknowledged outages" is enabled on the probe, repeat alerts stop firing. You can also add timestamped notes to the outage that are visible to all team members.

When you add an integration, we send a 6-digit verification code to the channel. You enter the code in the dialog to confirm the destination is reachable before any real alert ever fires through it.

Yes. Preemptive Alerts let you configure a lead time of up to 30 days for SSL certificate and domain registration expiry. You will receive an alert via your configured channels before the expiry causes an actual outage.
